Doorphone

The doorphone is an entirely numeric mural MTC station that is linked directly with your Norstar phone. It doesn't need any ATAE or external electric supply or any material programming. When it is connected with a Door Opening Controller, the doorphone can be a very useful security device in all places where you need to install an intercommunication station or to set up access restrictions.

When a visitor presses the Call button on your Doorphone, the Norstar system rings the designated phone or phones in your office. Your Norstar telephone displays which Doorphone is calling on the LCD Window. You can then greet your visitors over the intercom. If there is no answer, a people search ring (distinctive chime) can be conveyed to the phones in a designated zone (optional function). It is also possible to program the Doorphone so it will be the messaging answering to calls. Up to four Doorphones can be added to your Norstar system, each one can be programmed to ring or announced a people search on a different group of stations. This device allows a flexible answer to calls. And with the optional Door Opening Controller (DOC), any Norstar telephone can control a latch on a door or a gate. Simply press the soft key below OPEN in your LCD Window. And the door opens. Each Doorphone can communicate with a maximum of twelve door opening controls, giving the possibility to remotely open twelve electronic devices from the phone dial pad.
